Under-Floor Heating
Under-floor heating is becoming more and more common in the world today. It is standard practice in new build installations, because of how efficient and economically friendly it is to install and use. Theres no need for Radiators in a room with underfloor heating, which means more wall space. Underfloor heating gives of a direct heat straight up from the floor, as opposed to a convection system which means it puts out a consistant and even temperature across each zoned area in the house.
Under-floor works by use of a pipe layout structure, guided along tracks under your floor. It’s filled with water and connected into a manifold, which joins into your original heating circuit from your boiler. The heated water circulates through the pipes, giving off balanced heat in your area of the house, which is controlled by a thermostat. you can have as many rooms as you want in your house with its own heated zone and thermostatically controlled.
Depending on what floor type you have would determine what system you would need to use. There are a few different ways the pipes can be layed in the floor. These different ways are :
-Screeded floor- That means you have a concreate floor
-wooding joist floor
We come out and complete a proper survey and heat loss calculation.
We use only the best quality of materials and do a thorough job on prepping a underfloor area for any type of screed or covering
